Seeking proud Irish people, musicians, ballad singers, story tellers, and poets to participate in a 1916 commemoration event project.

Our goal is to remember 1916, honour the heroes, and educate others about the past, as well as preserve the legacy of what was fought for. Some of what we've done in the past was fundraise for Irish causes, such as the Connolly House. We'd like to do more.

What we're asking are videos of:

• Irish songs and ballads
• Poetry Readings
• Family connections to the Easter Rising
• Messages about what 1916 means to you today
• Saying the phrase, "I am 1916."

Credit will be given to all participants on the site as supporters, where their information will be shared along with the project, its promotions and donations.
